About
Kennedy Pozzi-Mondeau has dedicated over 20 years to the art of dance. She trained at On Pointe School of Dance for 16 years and competed for eight years, earning numerous awards in solo, duo, trio, and group categories. During high school, she was a member of the varsity dance team for four years, honing her skills in both performance and collaboration.
Kennedy continued her education at Central Michigan University, earning a degree in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health and a minor in Dance. While at CMU, she performed in student choreography showcases, participated in master classes such as the Stringz Jit Master Class (2022 and 2023) and Karen Opper Rhoad’s Modern Master Class, and contributed to the interdisciplinary project Vocal Folds: An Exploration of the Human Instrument through Music, Dance, and Song. She was also an active member of CMU’s dance team and other campus organizations focused on the arts.
In addition to her performance experience, Kennedy is a passionate and experienced dance educator. She has taught ballet, jazz, lyrical, musical theater, and hip hop to students aged 2 to 18 at On Pointe School of Dance. Her teaching emphasizes not only technical proficiency but also fostering artistic expression and personal growth in her students.
